About me
Hey there!
My name is Nikos and I’m a Flutter Developer from Athens, Greece.
I studied Computer Science in the Technical Educational Institution (TEI) of Athens, where I got my Bachelor’s degree and started working professionally as a Software Engineer in 2014.
I have a demonstrated history of developing large-scale solutions within public sector, European organizations and companies, as well as some of the largest companies in fuel and banking industry in Greece.
In late 2019 I was introduced to Flutter, which I instantly fell in love with.
Two years later I decided it was time to chase my long-time dream of becoming a mobile developer, so I joined Kin + Carta as a Flutter Engineer!
Since then I’ve been working full-time on Dart and Flutter projects, creating commercial apps, productivity tools, as well as contributing to community open-source projects.
Along with programming, I’m equally passionate about music; I love playing guitar, discovering new artists and jamming with friends. Recently, I’ve also taken up photography, with a focus on capturing the beauty of nature and urban landscapes, as well as astrophotography.

Flutter Engineer
As a part of an international team, I worked in an English-speaking environment and I collaborated closely with some of the top Flutter developers, including Google Developer Experts (GDEs), on various high-end Flutter projects for clients across Europe, including Toolstation with over 1m downloads. This experience refined my technical skills and enhanced my proficiency in effective cross-cultural communication. Additionally, I co-organized the internal Flutter Community of Practice and delivered numerous presentations on a diverse range of topics pertaining to Dart & Flutter, including discussions on various libraries, code generation, CI/CD, templating, and more.
